NOTES:

  • All cleaning supplies are located in the hot water heater closet.

  • If you need to purchase anything to clean effectively or replace items, contact Linda for reimbursement if necessary.


BEDROOMS

  • Pull everything out from under beds

  • Sweep under beds for cobwebs and dirt

  • Shake out rugs

  • Sweep floors

  • Clean inside windows and sills of bugs/dirt

  • Take down dust light fixtures to clean. Replace bulb if needed

  • Dust baseboard heaters, furniture and headboards

  • Wash dirt spots/smudges on walls

  • Clean floor with wet Swiffer

  • Take 6 mattress pads and wash/dry at laundry mat

  • Wash garbage can from each bedroom

BATHROOM

  • Clean shower stall & door (inside & out)

  • Clean toilet

  • Clean sink and mirror

  • Wipe down cabinet shelves and clean dryer + lint trap

  • Wipe down baseboard heater

  • Clean inside the window and sill of bugs/dirt/cobwebs

  • Sweep floor and shake out rug(s)

  • Clean floor with wet Swiffer

  • Wash bathroom garbage can

LIVING ROOM / DINING ROOM

  • Clean out fireplace

  • Clean kerosene lamps and glass stacks

  • Clean fireplace mantel

  • Move chairs and couches to sweep underneath

  • Move the wood box and sweep underneath

  • Wipe down cobwebs on ceiling, corners, and curtains

  • Remove ceiling fixture and clean. Replace bulb if needed.

  • Clean glass on all picture frames

  • Clean baseboard heaters

  • Clean inside windows and remove bugs and dirt from sill

  • Dust all furniture, tables and chest

  • Dust all lamps and shades

  • Check smoke detector battery

  • Vacuum couches and under cushions

  • Sweep floor

  • Clean floor with wet Swiffer

KITCHEN

  • Clean and organize all cabinets

    • Pots and pans cupboards

    • Spice cupboard

    • Coffee cupboard

    • Glass, plates and bowls cupboard

    • All cupboards need to be cleaned

  • Clean under sink

  • Clean coffee pots

  • Wipe down outside of cabinets and door fronts

  • Shake out toaster crumbs into garbage

  • Clean all countertops

  • Wash the kitchen garbage can

  • Clean window, window sill, removing all bugs/cobwebs

  • Clean backdoor window and wipe down door

  • Wipe down cobwebs on ceiling and top of cupboards

  • Clean kitchen ceiling light fixture

  • Shake out rugs and wash or replace if necessary

  • Sweep floor

  • Clean floor with wet Swiffer

STOVE

  • Clean the inside of the stove. Self cleaning oven instructions:

    • Lock oven door

    • Press “Self Clean” button

    • Press “Start”

    • Screen will indicate how long “Self Clean” mode will take

    • Once it is completed (and not hot) wipe down inside of oven with wet paper towel

  • Wipe out burner pans

  • Open the stove top and remove food particles

  • Clean burner surface

  • Clean dial/clock area

  • Clean out drawer under stove

  • Wash hot pads and oven mitts

MICROWAVE

  • Clean top, sides, door and glass

  • Clean interior and wash glass plate

  • Clean grease off of microwave fan

REFRIGERATOR

  • Take out all drawers and wash in the sink with hot water and soap

  • Clean inside of refrigerator, especially under drawers

  • Clean all shelves and door compartments

  • Clean and wipe out the freezer. Easiest when it isn’t frozen.

  • Clean top, front and sides of fridge

  • Clean door and rubber seal around doors

  • Clean door handles. Scrub hard.

  • Clean the bottom grill of the refrigerator. Lots of cobwebs and dust.

OUTSIDE

  • Wash all windows and screens outside

  • Dig out fire pits

  • Sweep and blow off deck. Leaf blower in the bin on deck.

  • Wash tables and chairs

  • Cut grass if needed

SHED

  • Clean out refrigerator and wipe out inside and outside

  • Straighten up shed

  • Start up mower and add gas if needed
