Welcome to the cottage.

1. Go to the hot water heater closet and make sure the black breaker switch on the gray box is DOWN.
(This shuts off the hot water heater.)

2. Go to the third bedroom, in the breaker box, turn on the main breaker (it is the largest black bar), push it UP.

3. Go to the freezer, wipe out the freezer of debris/garbage before using it, & it freezes again.
CLOSE DOORS.

4. Go to the fireplace, before starting a fire, clean out the ashes from the last user.

5. Check the smoke alarm by the third bedroom door.
(see if it's working and if it needs a new battery)

6. Wait 30 minutes and go to the hot water closet and push black breaker switch on the gray box to UP.
(now water will heat up)
